Scared

I'm a movie enthusiast, would watch probably any movie with the same enthusiasm and vigor and then have a say over it. I just love watching them, be it commercial, artistic, serious, drama, comedy, romantic, horror, action, fantasy, thriller I'm a game when it comes to movie. But today after watching one I really got scared, and no it wasn't a horror. Thankfully it wasn't a horror. But the reason for me to get scared was the close resemblance of the plot of the movie to my life. Those 2 hours were like watching my life all over again, feeling the pain I had gone through once in my life. Since then not really been able to overcome those thoughts. Tried so many things but nothing worked, still soaked in the same emotions. Wanna cry but even that won't help I guess. Always believed that movies are a replica of real life but today was petrified after feeling it. After this, I really don't think would have the same attitude of watching movies anymore. Help me God in overcoming my fears!

Are We Free ??

Almost 63 years have passed, since we got the independence from the Britishers, but still I was just wondering are we actually free. Though the slavery which we have now is not physical as it was earlier but its more severe than ever it was, here a mind is captured. Many of you might be wondering what I'm writing and why it is significant now. But believe me it does matters and we really really need to do something for this.

Even in today's age we are not free to express our thoughts that freely, although to say we live in a democratic country. For this we have a recent example of Ruchika. Even after 19 years the accused is not punished. There are so many so called social groups in our country who think themselves as responsible for keeping intact India's morality. On every other fortnight there is a news that either these disrespect women or try invading in someone else's privacy and still talking about morality. I guess they should keep a check on their moral quotient first rather than going for others.

If I want I can go on pointing the flaws in our country or our people but the point which I want to make here is what am I doing against them, or what are we doing against them.

Nothing! Simply Nothing!

Expectations

Some times I often contemplate the complexities of human behavior, of course keeping myself in the frame of reference and focusing over this one word EXPECTATION. This word helps me to move ahead in ;ife by expecting things from myself, yet a times when I expect too much the same word can cause a lot of pain and desolation. I always make a promise to myself that I won't expect too much from people close too me but always end up confused about the limits. Though it looks quite simple and people close to me often suggests me not to expect anything from others but then is life any worth if others don't expect from you and you don't expect from others. Certainly No! This process of expecting and then fulfilling someone's expectation makes life interesting, worth living....................

प्यार के कीडे

उफ्फ्फ्फ़.....ये प्यार के कीडे;

Delhi 6

Just finished watching Delhi 6 and in all these 2 hours 18 minutes of run time I was just wondering or rather exhilarated after watching the execution of a simple story in a unconventional yet captivating way....... Hats off 2 Rakeysh Mehra for showing such courage to move against the flow, the use of Ramlila is a direct blow to the methodological structure of Indian society, but certainly you could feel the warmth while watching the movie...... the characters are etched out brilliantly...... you just couldn't take your eyes off from Waheeda Rehman whenever she comes on screen and same for Sonam Kapoor, she reflects such a child like innocence that you fell in love with her from the very first moment she comes onscreen.......Abhishek's accent doesn't looks fake, although he isn't that good and he could have done better than this........ A.R. Rehman, the music maestro doesn't need any applause from my side the name itself guarantee quality....... Rishi Kapoor is a top notch and same for Divya Dutta, she impresses everyone with her portrayal of an untouchable who keeps on mouthing fowl words but is a kind soul........ Om Puri and Pawan Malhotra enacted their part pretty well and same goes for Supriya Pathak and her sister-in-laws (oops.... i don't know their names) ......... On the whole Delhi 6 is captivating with its not so new theme of Hindu Muslim unity but a bit slow as the time being taken for the events to occur destroys the enthusiasm of watching it happening on screen.................and the kaala bandar the concept is gr8 but then again too gibbrish to come from Mehra.......... and yeah the romance in the movie is totally missing.......... may be while making a statement on Hindu Muslim Unity Mehra almost forgot to allow the lead pair to spend some quality time on screen.................... and technically movie is completely flawless, excellent cinematography, brilliant backdrops and background score and fabulous music soothes your ears and slowly slowly grows on you so much so that by the end movie gets over you would probably start singing one of the songs as in my case I loved Massakali and Genda phool.............. the whole conclusion is you can devote your 2 hours and 18 mins to watch something ordinary yet very rooted to our culture and day today life................

Slum Dog Millionaire

"Slum Dog Millionaire"....... a masterpiece, truly a classic. Generally I'm not impressed with the kind of movies being made these days but Slum Dog completely bowled me over. I get involved more and more with each and every scene, each and every actor who showed his/her craft brilliantly. Be it the small boy who played younger Jamal who showed his love ad enthusiasm to meet Mr. Bachchan that he didn't even cared about jumping into shit, or his happiness when he was taken by his brother to Maman since he was in the impression that he is gonna be rich and famous. I loved his line "apne din badalne waale hai bhai", truly awsome. Then comes the Anil Kapoor, he looked so authentic as a jealous and hardcore money minded businessmen that you really begin hating him at some point or the other while watching the movie. Even the director and the script writer deserves equal credential for their meticulous efforts which they put i each and every scene is truly remarkable. The music which takes the narative forward is outstanding. A. R. Rehman is surely a genius who dares to experiment and qualify each and every test with flying colours. I wouldn't be shocked if TZP loses the oscar to SlumDog Millionaire. Truly Hats off to the cast and the crew.
